Terms & Conditions of Hire

Damage

All Hirers accept full responsibility for the security and care of the Oztent Hire & Sales QLD equipment at all times.
All Hirers need a valid credit card - Visa or Mastercard or full excess of $1500 is payable on pickup.
All Hirers need to pass a 100 point identification process e.g. (Medicare card, credit card, passport etc.)
Any items found to be broken, missing, substituted or lost will be deducted from the Hirer's security bond.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total hire charge is required to be paid at the time of booking.
For bookings less than 7 days duration & weekend hire 100% deposit at the time of booking is required and this is not refundable.
The remaining 70% of the total hire is required to be paid at least 21 days prior to departure.
We accept direct bank deposit, Mastercard/Visa and cash.
Security bond is payable prior to departure on pickup be either Visa or Mastercard and any other payment type requires the full $1500 excess.
Security bond is refunded (in part or whole depending on the condition of the tent and accessories) to the Hirer within 7 working days after full inventory and maintenance check has been carried out by Oztent Hire & Sales QLD.
Oztent Hire & Sales QLD reserves the right to cancel the hire agreement at any given time should the terms of payment be contravened and deposit is then non-refundable.

All cancellation notifications must be in writing.
Over 30 days notice, a full refund of deposit paid less administration charge of $15.00.
Less than 30 days notice your 30% deposit will be forfeited.
Weekend or any hire less than 7 days duration cancelled with less than 30 days notice will forfeit 30% deposit and any remaining payments will be refunded.
No refund for any 'no show' or cancellations within 7 days of pickup/delivery date.
Early returns are not refundable.
We recommend that you take out your own travel insurance policy.
If the tent/equipment is not abailbale at the commencement time for any reason outside of our control, we will if possible provide a similar tent or if this is not possible we will refund any deposit paid and shall be under no further liability to you.

Oztent Hire & Sales QLD allows 60 minutes grace before late charges occur, please contact us on 0400 025 120 to advise us of any delay.
Late payment fees are charged at 2/7ths of the weekly rate per day or part thereof.
Any request for additional days is at the discretion of Oztent Hire & Sales QLD Management.
